Kimball Cho is a member of the CBI and works closely with Wayne Rigbsy. A straight laced agent, following cases by the book and extremely loyal to Teresa Lisbon and Patrick Jane. His main skill set is interrogation as he can be very persuasive. Although he is usually very serious, he does have a dry sense of humour and can be quite the ladies man.

Tim Kang has established himself as a highly sought after and versatile actor in both film and television. In addition to his work as the straight-arrow investigator on THE MENTALIST, Kang was seen on the big screen in the Lionsgate action thriller Rambo opposite Sylvester Stallone and also re-teamed with director Greg Pak for the title role in Mister Green, having first worked together in Pak’s acclaimed first feature, Robot Stories.
Before his role in The Mentalist, Kang has had memorable performances in movies such as The Forgotten and Two Weeks Notice. He has also had strong recurring roles on television in NBC’s popular drama, Third Watch, and CBS’s military saga, The Unit. Other television credits include guest-starring roles in popular TV shows, such as The Ghost Whisperer, The Office, The Sopranos, Monk, Chappelle’s Show, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order: Trial By Jury. Born and raised in San Francisco, Kang graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science before heading east to attend the prestigious A.R.T.
